Y6 visit the Sutton Life Centre

Year 6 had a brilliant couple of days visiting the Sutton Life Centre, a unique, state of the art educational and community facility that supported our PSHE and Topic learning about global citizenship.

Part of the trip involved a tour around the Life Skills Zone.  Part film set, part learning experience, the Life Skills Tour taught us about citizenship, personal safety and the environment.  Giant projection screens, powerful surround sound, evocative lighting and interactive elements of the 360 room and virtual train platform gripped us all for the entire 2 hour learning experience.  We simply didn't want it to end!

Afterwards, we all had a chance to go on the climbing wall, where we battled the cold to reach the top of the wall, however scared we might have been!  Have a look at the big smiles on our faces in the photos below, as we worked together to conquer our fears and motivate everyone to reach the top!
