'Wild Things' at Granton

Last week Early Years and Key Stage 1 celebrated a
fun-filled week of Literacy learning around the wonderful text 'Where The Wild Things Are'.
The book was written 50 years ago by Maurice Sendak!  That's even older than Mrs Barrio!
To celebrate in style, we all dressed up as Max or a 'wild thing'!
Here's the song we learned and performed in assembly:

If you wanna be a wild thing, now’s your chance!
‘Cos everybody’s doing the wild thing dance!
You've got to stamp your feet,
And wave your hands around.
Stretch them up, stretch them up and put them on the ground.
We’re doing the wild thing dance – that’s right!
We’re doing the wild thing dance – altogether now!
Ooh ooh aah ahh oooh ahha ahh!
Ooh ooh aah ahh oooh ahha ahh!

Why don't you practise at home too and teach your family the dance?
