STARS Gold Level Accreditation!

Congratulations to the Granton Junior Travel Ambassadors (JTAs) and to their teacher, Sally McAlone, for achieving the highest level of accreditation from STARS (Sustainable Travel: Active Responsible Safe).

The pupils received their plaque at the Oval Cricket Ground this week during a celebratory ceremony. Previously the school had the Silver award and is thrilled to be able to add the Gold Star to the plaque. The award lasts for three years until 2017.

In recognition of her own commitment to sustainable and safe travel, Sally McAlone was presented with her own 'School Travel Plan Champion Recognition Award- South Region' glass award.
