Regional Winners of the National Young Mathematicians' Awards!
Many congratulations to the Granton Team who are the regional winners of the National Young Mathematicians' Awards!
At the Explore Learning Merton centre 15 schools competed in the competition with 5 schools excelling in round 1 and making it through to round 2.
In round 2 of the competition Granton were the top scoring school and therefore the school that have been put through to Head Office to collate all of the regional winners scores to decide on who will be lucky enough to compete in the grand final at Cambridge University. The schools were assessed based on their understanding of the problem given, demonstration of logical thinking and team work skills.
