Readathon 2013

We are holding a whole school, week long, sponsored reading event called READATHON.

Monday 4th March - Friday 8th March.

The children will be bringing home sponsorship forms for their families to sponsor how many books each child reads during the READATHON week.

They can read books, comics, newspapers, recipe books, poetry books.....ANY reading counts.

All of the money that Granton collects will be going to three charities:

ReadWell - a charity that provides storytellers and books to children's hospitals

Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity - a charity that helps children who have brain and blood conditions

CLIC Sargent -the UK's leading cancer charity

Scholastic's Books have promised us 20% of our money raised, to be used to spend on new books for us too!
