Poetry day at the Southbank
A group of Y5 children had a fantastic afternoon celebrating a 'watery' themed National Poetry Day at Poetry Day Live at the Royal Festival Hall. We listened to famous poets reciting their work, helped create a group poem, joined in some shared performances and even learnt to rap some poetry! We enjoyed sharing our skills on the microphone, even Martin had a go! We finished off by contributing some samples of water to the Museum of Water.
