JTA Conference

Our 4 new Junior Travel Ambassadors (JTAs) were very excited to visit Roots and Shoots for their annual conference. The purpose of this was to inform them about their roles as JTAs and to make suggestions about what activities they could initiate.

During the conference we: were shown how to mend a puncture; made mind maps of things we need to be aware of to stay safe when travelling; took part in a quiz about road safety and, very excitingly, helped the police to measure the speed of local traffic with a speed gun!

Finally, we all had a wonderful lunch and collected goody bags containing everything that we would need to help us promote road safety and safe travelling within Granton.
