International Day 2014

Thank you to all who came to the events that took place on Thursday 5th June 2014. It was a fantastic day that celebrated all our international links. It started with the amazing displays of children’s work from our recycling topic linked to Miss Cooper's visit to Chamwino, our partnership school in Tanzania. The hall was awash with colour and inventive products made from all sorts of recycled items collected last term.

As well as the exhibition, thank you to the parents and carers who came to our meeting discussing Granton’s links with Chamwimo Primary in Dodoma, Tanzania as well as Ecole Elementaire Pierre Larousse, in Paris. We had some great feedback.

Our Granton family comes from a very wide range of countries and ethnicities and we embrace these differences and teach each other about them, in order to empower everyone to achieve their potential in an inclusive rich environment. This was clearly evident at our International Evening which was very highly attended with everyone bringing a traditional dish and listening to music from around the globe.

Thank you to all who joined in the celebrations.
