Crossing Patrol

With the local footpaths being replaced it has become increasingly difficult for pupils to cross Granton Road safely. The school's Junior Transport Ambassadors (JTAs) and Mr Terrey took to the street yesterday to help provide pupils and parents with a safe road crossing.

There are several things that parents and carers can do to support the pupils safety during this time:

- Please don't drive down Granton Road at the beginning and end of the school day- it is too dangerous

- Please do not park on the yellow lines- this is unsafe and a criminal offence

- Park and stride- this means park a little bit further away and walk to school.

- Encourage your children to walk or scoot to school- we now have scooter pods where scooters can be chained

Everyone in the Granton Family has a responsibility for the safety of each other. For more information on road safety, please CLICK HERE.
