Granton Primary School PTA

The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) exists to promote positive relationships between staff, parents and the school community. We aim to support the school by raising money for additional facilities that do not come from government funding and by doing so bring the school and wider community together to form the Granton family.

Over the past years, funds raised by the PTA have funded or contributed towards a number of resources for the school including BAME books; robotics; playground games for wet play and football kits for both boys and girl teams to name a few.

Pre COVID-19, the PTA was active in running a wide range of events and activities throughout the year that enabled Granton friends and families to get involved in a variety of ways and helped us to raise vital funds for our school.  Events such as school discos; summer and winter fairs and a car boot sale. More recently, a seasonal virtual story time; Santa doorstop visits with photographer; virtual mini-London Marathon and a Zoom quiz night!

Interested in getting involved? Well, every Granton parent/carer automatically becomes a member of the PTA.  All are welcome and all support is appreciated.
